Sasha Mainard

Crisis Director

Nguyen Thuc Anh To
(Thuc Anh)
Harry Izzard

Chair

Assistant Crisis Director

Sasha is a second year student at University College London studying Economics. He started doing MUN when he joined UCL United Nations Association and has been involved in the MUN circuit since. At his first conference, Sasha participated in the crisis committee and has been doing them ever since (they are obviously far superior to GA). Apart from MUN, and when he is not residing in the UCL Student Centre, he loves hanging out with his friends and going out to do fun things around London. He is excited to see everyone and to be your crisis director!

Thuc Anh is a 1st year History student at King’s College London and she’s more than ecstatic to be the Assistant Crisis Director for the Historical Crisis Committee. She loves playing music, boxing, debating nonsensical topics and, of course, anything History-related. By bringing History and MUN together, she’s excited to see the thought-provoking discussions made and watch the chaotic events play out.

Harry is a First Year International Relations student at SOAS, University of London. 2024 is his first year doing MUN, and he is very excited for YouthMUN as it will be his first time chairing! Having helped chair at SOAS MUN training sessions, He is looking forward to creating a fun and engaging experience for all Crisis delegates. Outside of MUN, Harry can be found around London, either going out or finding somewhere to do uni work!

Alix Pecheur

Chair

Alix discovered MUN in Gabon joining her highschool club and learning to organize conferences as well as being able to participate for the first time. She was then able to bring that experience and helped build the first MUN group in her highschool in Belgium with 4 other students which has now really grown! Being a student at SOAS, she studies Global Development and International Relations. Outside of MUN and university, Alix likes to take walks when its sunny and discover new parts of London.
