The London Youth Diplomacy Foundation is founded by a group of like-minded university students who have previously organised various high school conferences around London. The Foundation offers programs beyond the annual conference, London YouthMUN, but also various initiatives which offer students a taste of the study of diplomacy and international relations.

Dear Friends of the Foundation,

The establishment of the London Youth Diplomacy Foundation is a new chapter in the history of the conferences that many of us have been a part of and hold dear. With your previous support, our conferences and offerings are now renowned in the United Kingdom. Our mission remains the same - to offer high-quality educational offerings in diplomacy and international relations while remaining accessible to everyone.

With our signature conference, London YouthMUN, we will continue the tradition of combining academic excellence with inclusivity and 'networking' - we continue to believe in cross-generational excellence and leadership, by fostering a culture where we all work together to build a conference for everyone. Our #MUNforALL initiatives will further complement this initiative as we aim to make Model United Nations accessible for everyone.

Who we were...
You've probably heard of us from various different conferences that the trustees and the current Secretariat have previously been a part of. LSE YouthMUN. LSEMUN High School. We've welcomed over 100 schools from over 30 countries, hundreds of delegates to our conferences. Our Secretariat, Chairing Staff and Assistant Chairs come from universities all over the United Kingdom, volunteering their precious time to make our conferences a success.

In 2023, LSE YouthMUN introduced the Tour, where we brought MUN workshops directly to students in various schools in order to broaden our engagement. This formed the ##MUNforALL initiative which would come to define it. 2024 saw the expansion of such initiatives, including the LSEMUN SDG Policy Challenge and the LSEMUN Academy. With the formalisation of the London Youth Diplomacy Foundation, we will be consolidating these initiatives while emphasising the interdisciplinary and intercollegiate nature of our work.
London YouthMUN. Workshops. Challenges.
London YouthMUN Secretariat
The Secretariat is headed by the Secretary General (SG), who appoints the Deputy Secretary General (DSG) and the Secretariat for the Conference, university students who organise the Foundation's flagship conference, London YouthMUN. The SG acts as an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees.
Governance and Regulation Board
The Board drafts the internal and external policies of the Foundation, and is in charge of appointing the London YouthMUN Secretariat for the upcoming year. The Board also actively pursues grant opportunities, donations and sponsorships.
Special Projects Team
The Team organises the Foundation's various #MUNforALL initiatives, including the MUN Academy and various policy challenges, diversifying the offerings of the Foundation. Members of the Foundation are welcome to propose any initiatives that they have and will be provided support to organise them if approved by the Board.
