Sophie Rawlinson

Speaker

Sophie is a third-year BA International Relations student at the University of Glasgow. She serves at the president of the MUN Club at her university after having delegated and chaired at a wealth of conferences.

In her free time, she enjoys playing handball and she is an avid F1 fan.

She looks forward to chairing this committee and engage in meaningful discussions with all of you at London YouthMUN 2025.

Petar Petrov

Deputy Speaker

Petar is a 3rd year PPE student at Northeastern University London, originally from Bulgaria. He has been an avid MUNer for the past 6 years, having delegated, chaired and staffed a variety of conferences around the UK and Europe. After starting out with more, traditional GAs, he eventually developed a great liking to specialised, historical or non-standard MUN committees, as such being very excited to chair the House of Commons. When not busy with MUN, or writing out his Economics dissertation, he can usually be found exploring new areas of London, travelling to the mountains for a hike, or attempting to beat a record on an escape room.
Outside MUN, she loves singing, and making new friends, so please don't be shy to approach her at anytime. One fun fact about her is that she used to compete for UCL Taekwondo, but don't worry, she's not scary at all!
