At LYDF, we believe that Model United Nations should be an academic activity available to everyone, regardless of background.

The London Youth Diplomacy Foundation is founded by a group of like-minded university and Sixth Form students who have previously participated, chaired and organised various high school conferences around London. Our mission centres on delivering meaningful programmes around schools in the United Kingdom, to cultivate skills in diplomacy. The Board of Trustees is composed of various stakeholders, including university students, Sixth Form students, and teachers, to deliver cross-generational change.

The Foundation offers programs beyond the annual conference, London Youth Model United Nations, but also various #MUNforALL initiatives which offer students a taste of the study of diplomacy and international relations.

Message from the Board

Dear Friends of LYDF,

The establishment of the London Youth Diplomacy Foundation is a new chapter in the history of the conferences that many of us have been a part of and hold dear. With your everlasting support, London YouthMUN is now internationally recognised, a prime example of the academic excellence in the United Kingdom and our highest regard for diplomacy.

With our signature conference, London YouthMUN now entering its second edition in 2026, we will continue our proud tradition of high-quality academic offerings in diplomacy and international relations with a touch of humanity and accessibility. We continue to believe in cross-generational excellence and the value of leadership, by fostering a culture where we all work together, regardless of background, to build a conference for everyone. Our #MUNforALL initiatives will further complement the conference in order to continue making Model United Nations accessible for everyone.

Your continued support and participation in our offerings will continue to fuel our passion. We look forward to meeting you all in 2026 again, whether in YouthMUN or our other initiatives.

Yours sincerely,
Kelvin Ng
