Deputy Secretary-General, London YouthMUN 2026
Esteemed faculty advisors and honourable delegates,
On behalf of the entire London YouthMUN 2025 Secretariat, we would like to extend our gratitude for your incredible support and participation in this year’s conference. Your commitment to shaping the next generation of diplomats and global leaders made London YouthMUN 2025 a truly unforgettable and impactful experience.
As the incoming Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General of London YouthMUN 2026, having served as USG Chairing and USG Logistics of the 2025 edition respectively, we would like to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves. Hi!! I’m Josh, I am a Final Year History and Politics of the Americas student at UCL and I will be this year’s Secretary-General and I’m Ambi Najjhur an incoming 2nd year BA Social Anthropology with Politics student at the LSE, taking on the role of Deputy Secretary-General. We are deeply honoured and excited to lead this conference into the next chapter. But, we must first extend our thanks to the outgoing Secretary-General Alberto Martino and Deputy Secretary-General Mollie McGowan for their exceptional leadership, tireless diligence, and inspiring dedication - thank you for all your work, you have truly set the bar high, and we hope to make you proud!!
It is with great enthusiasm that we invite you to join us for London YouthMUN 2026, which will take place from Friday 13th March - Sunday 15th March 2026 at the LSE. For next year, we aim to build on the strong foundation you have helped create. More than just a conference, we hope London YouthMUN 2026 will continue to serve as a transformative platform- one that empowers students to grow as empathetic leaders, confident speakers, and passionate changemakers.
We are truly grateful for the support and trust you have shown in London YouthMUN which, of course is a program of the London Youth Diplomacy Foundation (LYDF). It goes without saying, we must thank the trustees, particularly the Chairman Kelvin Ng, who make this all possible. We encourage you to stay connected with the LYDF in the months ahead, as the foundation has many exciting initiatives and opportunities planned that we cannot wait to share with you. Once the next academic year starts, be sure to expect updates for London YouthMUN2026.
Thank you once again. We look forward to welcoming you to London YouthMUN 2026 and to creating another unforgettable conference together.
The 2026 Secretariat is pleased to offer the following initiatives:
#MUNforALL Bursary Scheme
In line with the Foundation's commitment to expand access to those in need of financial aid, the Secretariat will be offering a tailored bursary scheme to schools. By getting into contact with the Secretariat before a specified deadline during Official Registration, we will be in touch in order to best understand your needs, such that we can offer the most affordable option for your school.

Schools who might be interested in the Bursary Scheme should contact the Secretary-General at sg@lymun.org.uk during the Initital Interest Form such that we can better gauge demand for the scheme.

London YouthMUN Tour
The YouthMUN Tour is a programme of the Secretariat where members of the Foundation can come to your school to deliver a bespoke training workshop in order to prepare your delegates for the conference. Previous years included topics such as conference research, public speaking skills and technical skills such as the Rules of Procedure.

While the YouthMUN Tour runs complementary to the MUN Academy, please note that it is not a prerequisite that a school has to signup to YouthMUN in order to gain access to the Tour. Should your school be interested, please signup through the Initial Interest Form.
Assistant Chair Programme
The Assistant Chair Programme is a unique oppotunity for Sixth Form students who have had previous experience in Model United Nations to participate in the conference as a chair. Students will be offered the opportunity to shadow university chairs in the preparation of conference materials, as well as gaining practical chairing experience which is highly valued in the university Model UN Circuit.

Students who are interested in the Programme should be nominated by a participating delegation in the Conference (or apply individually), and pass an interview in order to join this year's cohort of Assistant Chairs.
