African Union (AU)
Topic: Addressing the Rise of Coups and Corruption in Africa
Cluster C, Beginner Committee, open to all years
Hello everyone! I am final year student at SOAS studying Politics and International Relations. In my second year in London, I took the opportunity to participate in the London MUN circuit to add to my high school MUN experience. After taking on this new challenge, I enjoyed not just the debating aspect of MUNs but also the experience of meeting new people and making friends at the social events of the conferences. Besides MUN, I love cricket, football, and music. Looking forward to welcoming everyone and ensuring a dynamic and enriching experience for all delegates!

Hi! I’m Bar Lewy, and I’m excited to serve as the Assistant Chair for the African Union committee. I’ve been involved in Model UN for around three years, taking on a variety of roles across different schools and conferences. Outside of MUN, I enjoy music and meeting new people. I can’t wait to help make this committee a great experience for everyone involved.
