Chair: Livia La Camera
I am a 1st Year Law student at the LSE and I started MUN this year to which I have had some amazing opportunities and experiences since! For me, MUN is an exciting opportunity to gain a better understanding of global affairs and contextualise my course. I am excited to be joining London Youth MUN 2026 as a chair, as I believe that my prior experience as a delegate in University conferences will enable me to oversee the committee well. Outside of MUN you can find me reading, scrapbooking, or on the ice!
Assistant Crisis Director: Kavin Jayaprakash
Earlier this year, since starting my first year at UCL, I became enamoured with the fast pace and high stakes of crisis, and I have since decided to become more involved. As a recent newcomer to competitive MUN myself, I hope to make this conference a formative experience for all.
Chair: Aryan Hadian
I’m Aryan, I’m from Manchester and currently studying at SOAS, I’m a huge film buff and I even studied it in my A levels. Looking forward to chairing for the first time with you all!
Backroomer: Cosmo McDermott
Hey, I'm Cosmo. I'm a 2nd BA History and Japanese language student at SOAS, university of London. I have done only crisis in my time doing MUN and love the chaos of it all and especially the alliances you make with others in your cabinets. Outside of MUN I like to play Dungeons and Dragons, listen to new music and Box at my gym.
Backroomer: Corné Verster
Hi! I'm a second year International Relations student at SOAS, and I'm excited to be backrooming the Cuban Missile Crisis and seeing how delegates handle the chaos!
Backroomer: Tanmaye Shagotra
I am Tanmaye Shagotra, a first-year student at University College London pursuing Economics, and I am excited to be serving as a Backroomer for the General Crisis committee at YouthMUN 2026.
I have a passion for crisis and specialised committees, and the fast-paced decision-making, creativity, and deep engagement with the agenda that they demand. Over the years, I have participated as a delegate in more than 20 committees and have served on the dais in 7, experiences that have shaped my appreciation for dynamic debate and effective crisis simulation.
Undertaking historic crisis agendas have been especially engaging for me, as I realised that crisis is no ordinary committee and that delegates are not simply diplomats. Instead, they step into the roles of the architects of history—individuals defined by conviction, determination, and influence- entrusted with decisions that have the power to reshape reality itself.
As a Backroomer, my goal is to help create an immersive and challenging crisis environment that encourages delegates to think critically, act decisively, and fully embrace the intensity of crisis debate. I look forward to working closely with the dais team and contributing to a memorable YouthMUN 2026 experience that is both intellectually enriching and immensely enjoyable.
Backroomer: Alexis Yim
Hi! I'm currently studying Behavioural Sciences at the LSE. Having delegated at multiple Crisis committees, I look forward to a memorable Crisis as a backroomer for London YouthMUN 2026.
