Conference on the Reconstruction of Post-War Europe (CRPWE)
Cluster A, Intermediate Committee, open to all years
Petar is an MA Comparative Economics and Policy student at UCL's School of Slavonic and East European Studies. Originally from Bulgaria, he has spent the past 7 years or so delegating and chairing MUNs around Europe, and in the past few years, the UK. Having dedicated his final year of MUN to mostly chairing unique and specialised committees, he is beyond excited to return to YouthMUN 2026 for yet another chairing opportunity. When not too busy with MUN, he can usually be found off somewhere writing or taking a day drip away from London, ideally with some challenging hiking involved.
Head Chair: Petar Petrov
Hi everyone!
I'm Sara, I'm a first year student at UCL, studying Social Sciences (yes, that's the name of my degree). I will be the deputy chair for the Conference on the Reconstruction of Post-War Europe.
I've been doing MUN since 2022, but this'll be my first time chairing, so I'm really excited!!
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!
Deputy Chair: Sara O'Grady-Fenet
Assistant Chair: Miguel Maria Gomes Ferreira
Hi everyone! My name is Miguel Ferreira, and I’ll be your Assistant Chair for this committee. I’m an 11th grader at Saint Dominic’s International School of Lisbon in Portugal, and I’m incredibly excited to be part of the chairing team at this year’s LYMUN. I started MUN in 7th grade, and I’ll be the first to admit that I wasn’t very good at it at the beginning. However, with time, practice, and guidance from some amazing chairs, I grew a lot, which makes it especially meaningful for me to now be in a position where I can support you! Outside of MUN, I’m currently trying to survive the IB Diploma Programme. I love reading, writing, and watching new movies to expand my Letterboxd list, but most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my dog and volunteering with the cats at my local animal shelter. Being on the other side of the research brief for the first time is definitely a new experience (I hope my introduction is up to par!) but I’m extremely excited to help chair this committee and engage with such a fascinating topic. I hope you all enjoy the experience, and I’m looking forward to working with you throughout the conference!
