He previously chaired this very committee three years ago and served as Secretary-General for this very conference. He now serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the London Youth Diplomacy Foundation. He is excited to discover intricacies behind large changes in our society, and encourages delegates to set a goal and gain something out of this conference.
Robert Young
Co Chair
Robert is a sixth-form boy at Harrow School, studying Politics, Economics, Religion, and Maths. His first MUN was this very committee, chaired by Kelvin. His chairing career also began with this committee. Thus, now that he serves as a trustee of this foundation, he has come back to chair again. He is known for his love for passionate debates, which signify strong diplomacy.
Beyond the MUN sphere, he interests himself with cultural discussions about politics and philosophy over tea. Robert’s obsessive enjoyment of tea is another way to prompt the sort of civil discussion he expects come the conference.
Norman Nielsen
Co Chair
Norman is a 19 year old Student in his 1st year studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the LSE. He hails from Denmark, which is naturally far superior country to Sweden in every aspect - since who needs IKEA when you have Lego. He has been involved in MUN for the last 3 years in Denmark and the UK.
In his free time, he enjoys having cup of coffee and reading, whilst trying to avoid sinking into a fit of existential dread.
