London YouthMUN 2027
12-14 March 2027 at the London School of Economics and Political Science
organised in partnership with LSESU United Nations Society
Welcome Message
Honourable delegates and faculty advisors,
It is my honour to welcome you to the 3rd edition of London YouthMUN, organised by the London Youth Diplomacy Foundation. We are honoured to have the chance to organise (in my humble opinion) one of the best Model United Nations conferences in the country, with delegates and participants coming across multiple corners of the world. Together with the Secretariat, we are incredibly excited to host you in London, on the LSE Campus again in March 2027, as well as getting to know many of you over the course of the year as part of the YouthMUN Tour and other outreach initiatives.
More importantly, YouthMUN is very much a group effort, with our dedicated group of university student volunteers (Secretariat Members and the Chairing Staff), as well as our wonderful Assistant Chairs who come back to lead committees where they once connoted various speeches and strategies. We hope you will get to meet like-minded delegates, and we hope to learn about each of your stories and your innovative contributions to committee sessions (we’re sure of it). Do let us know if you have any questions!
Norman Meisner Nielsen
Secretary-General, London YouthMUN 2027
BSc Candidate (Philosophy, Politics and Economics), London School of Economics

Assistant Chair Programme
The Assistant Chair Programme is a unique opportunity for Sixth Form students who have had previous experience in Model United Nations to participate in the conference free of charge as a chair. Assistant Chairs participate in a series of dedicated trainings, and get to work alongside university Chairs during the conference to gain exposure in research and leadership skills, as well as experience valuable in the University circuit.
Students who are interested in the Programme should be nominated by a participating delegation in the Conference (or apply individually), and pass an interview in order to join this year's cohort of Assistant Chairs.
Applications are expected to open in November 2026.
#MUNforALL Bursary Scheme
In line with the Foundation's commitment to expand access to those in need of financial aid, the Secretariat will be offering a tailored bursary scheme to eligible schools and delegates. By getting into contact with the Secretariat before a specified deadline during Official Registration, we will be in touch in order to best understand your needs, such that we can offer the most affordable option for your school. Availability of the scheme is based on internal revenue projections and external sponsorships.
Further details regarding the Bursary Scheme will be available before Early Registration opens in October 2026.
London YouthMUN Tour
The YouthMUN Tour is a programme where members of the Foundation can come to your school to deliver a bespoke training workshop in order to prepare your delegates for the conference. Previous years included topics such as conference research, public speaking skills and technical skills such as the Rules of Procedure.
While the YouthMUN Tour runs complementary to the MUN Academy, please note that it is not a prerequisite that a school has to signup to YouthMUN in order to gain access to the Tour. Schools can request dedicated workshops using MUNConnect.
